Fitment is the difference between a wheel that looks factory-correct and one that rubs, sits sunken or fouls the caliper. This guide explains the five numbers that define a wheel and how we use them to build a custom forged set for your car.
Diameter and width set the tyre package; offset (ET) sets how far the mounting face sits from the wheel centreline and therefore how flush the wheel looks; PCD and centre bore locate the wheel on the hub; the load rating confirms it can carry the corner weight. Change one and the others usually have to move with it.
Because every RAZOR TEC wheel is machined to order, we set offset and width for your exact brake package and arch, rather than correcting an off-the-shelf rim with spacers. Send us the details below and we will confirm the fitment before anything is cut.

WHEEL FITMENT GUIDE FAQ
- What does wheel offset (ET) mean?
- Offset is the distance in millimetres between the wheel's mounting face and its centreline. A higher ET pulls the wheel inboard; a lower ET pushes it out toward the fender.
- How do I know if a wheel will clear my brakes?
- Caliper clearance depends on the spoke profile and the inner barrel shape. Tell us the brake package — carbon-ceramic, big-brake kit or standard — and we model the clearance before machining.
- Do I need spacers with custom forged wheels?
- No. Offset is machined into the wheel, so a made-to-order set sits correctly without spacers.
- What information do you need to quote a set?
- Vehicle make, model and year, current wheel and tyre sizes, brake package, any body modifications, and the design and finish you want.
